Here is another set of motocross pictures from late-December.

This was actually done on Christmas day. We had a good part of the family out there riding, and the others were watching and taking pictures with Roma and me.

It was a great day and the weather that week couldn’t have been better.

We think-kinda hard-that’s it’s going to be winter now so get out and enjoy it.

We’ve got a lot of great pictures from the holiday week to post, and here’s the second batch.

We spent a lot of the Christmas week out at the motocross track in Round Valley with the family. Our grandson David loves it out there so he’d ski in the morning and then have us at the track in the afternoon. On Christmas day, we had the whole family out there and boy was it great.

We’ll have some more of these coming up soon, as well as more from our Rhino trips into the Buttermilks. Enjoy.

Christmas week for the McCoys couldn’t have been better.

We spent most of the week outside with friends and family, enjoying the sights and enjoying the company.

We went on a few Rhino trips around the backyard and the Buttermilks. At this time last year, you couldn’t make it into the Buttermilks. This time, it was 70-degrees up there for much of the week.

The deer are loving the weather and so are the climbers at the Buttermilk climbing area. We got a lot of cool shots of them which we’ll post in a few days. We also saw a few different sets of golden eagles which we’ll also post in the next week.

One place that resembles winter is along the creeks. We made some great pictures of frozen water along some of the creek crossings. The days are warm but the nights must still be pretty cold.

The lack of snow doesn’t help skiing, but there’s a lot of fun to be had around Bishop and Mammoth right now. Stay tuned for much more from the last few weeks.

Happy New Year! We hope everybody had a safe and fun weekend. The reports from skiers have been mixed but it seems like skiing is fun no matter what.

We had a fantastic week with family and friends around. When they weren’t skiing, we spent a lot of time at the moto track down here. Here are some images from one of those afternoons.

We kicked off the Christmas week by cutting the Rhino in half and then heading into the Buttermilks on a photo adventure.

The Buttermilks usually have a fair amount of snow right now, but it’s almost January and there’s practically none to be found.

While there’s no snow, the temperatures are still cold enough in the high country to create a layer of ice over the creeks which makes for some really cool pictures.

We were on the lookout for some deer but didn’t see any. We went out a few nights ago to search them out again and found a lot out by Pine Creek. We’ll post some of those next week.

We also have a lot of good motocross shots, ducks and Christmas fun on the way so check back soon.
