#281: An Evening Rhino Cruise with Roma through Buttermilk

Roma and I headed out to Buttermilk last night in the Rhino and it was the perfect evening.

There are a lot of characters in the rocks out there and we grabbed some photos of a few of them.

It was a beautiful evening and it sure was nice to get out there and enjoy this July weather. I hope you all are doing the same thing.

Enjoy!

I sure have been enjoying the July weather in Bishop and I know others are too. I just climbed up past Gable Lakes 2 days after you posted this and folks were having fun outside. Sure was fantastic to take in the beautiful surroundings that make up the Eastern Sierra.

Thanks for these great pictures!!! My camera stopped working on my climb so these are “especially” great to look at.

#280: A Rhino Ride Down Tungsten City Road and The Backyard with our New GoPro

We’ve been debating a GoPro camera for a while now, and we finally went for it.
It was a good call, something we should have done a while ago. It mounts on to the Rhino in several places and give a perspective we can’t get anywhere else. The video quality is also very good.
Here is a three-minute clip from a test we did with it on Tuesday.
We mounted it on the top crossbar and on the front bumper in a few different spots. The lowest mounting point was cool, especially for stream crossings.
The electric vehicle should be up and going soon and this will be another great way to document its start.
That’s all for today. We’ll be back soon.

Thanks for keeping track of us Patricia and a small hello to you in France.
We noticed that shadow too. Good fun! We’re really enjoying the GoPro.

A small Hello from France,
Thank you both, Dave and Brandon. You make us benefit from a Rhino beautiful ride.
As regards the GoPro camera fixed on the vehicle, it is a good initiative. At the end of the video, while you return in the Ranch McCoy, we can see the GoPro camera on the shadow which is reflected on the road.
Cool !!! Bravo, the test is more than successful !!! Bye.
