#56: A New Mammoth Cloud and Early Summer in the Bishop Basin
On Saturday Roma and I took our friends Steve and Debbie Hayward up to Cardinal Village for lunch.
The water in Bishop Creek was running high. Running water is an interesting thing: It’s always happy and dancing as it goes by, but it’s always going downhill.
I also found a Mammoth cloud. I’ve seen a few clouds that look just like a Mammoth, and this one is almost perfect.

Here is the North Lake water running south.
This is not the first shot we’ve got of this guy, but it’s the first one from this angle.
He’s patient. He stays right there and waits for you. He waits to say hello to you.
So many shades of color.
I think I could catch a fish right there!

If you look close at the 2nd “Rock Face” photo (just to the left of what would be his goatee), you’ll find a little chimpanzee head/face there, too! =)
Cool Mammoth cloud pic and the rock face pic is way cool too
